I bring it up because i believe it might relate to how we should play, or at least how we could play.
here are some principles and I will write more later:
- best defense is a strong offense
- learning to intercept through reading your opponents body motion
- "absorb what is useful;Disregard that which is useless"
- Economy of motion- wasting no time on fancy moves
- never block-strike your opponent to stop kicks and hits
- simultaneous parry and punch
- limit the opponent to attack with the same arm by trapping the other
- Progressive Indirect attack
- Attack by Combination
- Attack by Drawing
the 3 parts
- efficiency-attack without detour
- directness-straight to the point
- simplicity- think in uncomplicated manner to flow like water
